Whats Cooking @ Appointzilla
So, 2 months back we announced the launch of version 2.0 with a lots of improvements and new features. Since then our free version has crossed 11,000 downloads and the pro version has seen a steady increase in sales.
We have been steadily improving Appointzilla with new enhancements and version 3.0 will have loads of new features. Here is the list :
1) PayPal Integration:
Yes, the most requested feature by far. We have added paypal support to Appointzilla and now Admin can accept complete payments / deposits at the time of booking. Bye Bye to fake booking.
2) Mobile Optimized Interface:
We have added a news shortcode specially optimized for mobile devices. The new shortcode does away with the Modal forms and renders much better on the small screen
3) Email Appointment Reminders:
Appointzilla now supports sending email reminders 1 day prior to the Appointment. This feature will reduce the no show problems and will help in increasing revenues for our users
4) Two Way Google Calendar Sync:
Appointzilla currently syncs appointments one way, i.e appointments booked on the wordpress websites show up on google calendar. Some of our users have requested a two way sync where events added to google calendar show up in Appointzilla. This feature has been developed and is currently under testing.
5) Group Bookings:
Many times Admin wants to book more than 1 person per appointment. As of now it is not possible with Appointzilla. We are working on this feature and will be released in version 3.0
Version 3.0 is expected to be released by 15th of March.

I have not tried online appointments before but this seems to cover all the basics and more…
Plus 2 way google calendar sync would be amazing.
I work at my customers homes and would need to allow an average space of 30mins for travelling time between appointments. Is this possible in the new V3?

Will it possible for a client to add multiple services to there appointment?
This would be a real boon if possible.
Adding multiple services is bit tricky. It can be done but would require a lot of customization.
Any updates on the release of V3 yet?
Yep, I’m considering to buy, so when is the 3.0 version going to be released? I won’t need soon, but I’ve to understand if I should wait for it or not. thx!
